Very nice thick soup full of flavour. It's a small shop with about 10 seats. When we got there pretty early for dinner so didn't need to wait.

Coming from southern California where I've always thought we had decent ramen, this place is by far the best I've ever had. No contest. Still early days on our trip through Japan, but the other ramen place on my list to try have their work cut out for them. The noodles are bouncy with just the right amount of chewiness and a great aroma, and the broth has huge flavor without being overwhelming. The ajitsuke eggs were perfectly flavored and cooked, and all of the accompaniments were nicely balanced. Note for fellow tourists, they don't speak much English and it's cash only. We ordered the first two items on the menu, miso ramen with chashu, and a tantan men.
