Very good quality ramen. The shrimp bisque was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area to go and try this out. I was very surprised to find this in Machiya.

Best ebi (shrimp) tantanmen I have ever had in Japan. The soup is thick, rich with full ebi flavor. They suggest to taste the soup with different toping sauce first before mixing them all together, and then add some konbu vinegar later to soften the taste. The noodles come with a bowl of cheese-topping rice which you can eat together with the leftover soup as risotto style. One minor point is since it is ramen shop, there is only counter seat and quite also small inside!
