A curious culinary experience. This ramen specializes on suppon (soft shell turtle) ramen. Soft shell turtle is a very special ingredient in japanese cuisine, and it is said it has positive beauty effects (due to collagen) and other mystical effects. Here, you taste suppon ramen at a price that is not overwhelming. The ramen itself tastes gentle and elegant (like salt ramen). The lunch menu came with a drink infused with suppon blood and suppon gelly (I had to have some courage to eat it). The shop is a close walk from Tokyo Sky Tree. The ramen with turtle soup was delicious. And the people in the place was so friendly that a group of clients voluntarily cleared one of their two tables to allow us to sit. Delicious food and great people.
