this place is so freaking good. i go at least twice a week. the quality and quantity of food you get for the price is nearly unbeatable. the noodles are springy and chewy and delightfully fresh. the tempura is crisp and airy and wonderfully crunchy. the owner/the other employees honestly often just throw in an extra piece. some older reviews say that this place isn’t kind or welcoming to foreigners. i’ve certainly never had that experience. however, the ordering system is indeed done through a ticket machine, and if you are unable to read Japanese, you will likely have some difficulty ordering. this is not, however, the fault of the owners or operators of the establishment. check out different photos of the various items available and figure out what you want to order ahead of time.

One of the best udon I've had in Japan. Service was fast and was in and out in 10 mins. Definitely recommended and will visit again.

The ordering machine is in Japanese. One of the chefs came out to explain each button. This is a standing restaurant and I wasn't disappointed at all. It tastes great and the portions are enough. The thing is you have to eat quick as the place is almost always full.
