Went in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It's not quite (the now closed) Barm's in Sendai, but close enough indeed to the atmosphere. Guinness served in pints, fish and chips on the menu, and a rotating selection of different beers and ciders to choose from. The two bartenders on the night I went were friendly and conversational in both English and in Japanese. They also even made me a snakebite when I asked if it was possible to do so given it wasn't on the menu. Ordered the fish and chips for dinner, and sure enough it was as it should be; thick cut cod, handmade chips, and plenty of malt vinegar.

Between food and atmosphere I hesitate which is what is even more wonderful! Most probably the best place to taste exquisite British Craft Beer! Mingle with locals and tourists! The owners are awesome warm people! Make you feel at home as soon as you step in! Definitely recommend it!

I can’t recommend this place enough! Not only great beers, food and music, but the staff and patrons are friendly and nice! A great place to meet foreigners and Japanese people alike. I’ve had some lovely and interesting conversations here. The owners are great at fostering a sense of community. You’ll have a wonderful time!
