I visited with my boyfriend, and the first impression I had was already positive: the environment is very cozy, local, genuine, and the staff welcomed us in a very warm way. Every single piece of every different cut of meat we got was absolutely delicious. So fresh, so tender, and so juicy. Heaven. I felt very comfortable in the informal environment, there were families at the other tables, and the vibes were very warm. The lady serving us was very helpful and nice, and we appreciated every small gesture. I was pleased by the fact that she was talking to me just as much as she talked to my boyfriend, although I’m 1) a girl and 2) a foreigner. Usually everyone just ignores me and talks to him only! I really appreciated that. We ate a lot, and we were as full as when we go to gyukaku or other cheap yakiniku place and get all you can eat, but here we got a much higher quality, even for slightly less money. (We payed ¥6400) in total and ate a lot of meat. Offered by the house was the kimchi and ice cream, which were delicious! I can’t eat ice cream so I told the lady, and she offered my boyfriend to also get my portion of ice cream! Impossible to refuse 2 portions of delicious, free ice cream 😁 My boyfriend got a soup at the end of the meal (crazy, it was hot and we were already full 😂) so he started saying “aaah あつい!あつい!” to himself. The lady probably heard that (we were sitting just beside the kitchen), and immediately ran to open the front door and let the breeze enter. So nice! With the check we also got a bonus: two chewing gums 🥰 They all thanked and greeted us warmly again when we left, and we felt like we already wanted to go back! We were actually going back the day after for lunch but we were too embarrassed to visit the place 2 consecutive days so we postponed it to next week 😂 it’ll become our go to yakiniku place 100% ❤️
