My favourite restaurant in Japan we have been going there for years. Every visit to Tokyo we go to Ootoya,

First meal in Tachikawa! It was a bit hard to find the entrance (it is on the back side of the building, opposite the street side). Got a seat right away and food came quickly. Everything was great! Very standard and honestly relaxing in a homestyle kind of way. Don't expect life-changing food, but good ol' standards done simply.

It feels good to have a good customer service attitude, probably because the employee education is solid everywhere in Ootoya. I'm happy to serve both water and tea. Various electronic money accepted
