More Comments at Google MapTraditional handmade soba served in a relatively spacious & relaxing soba house. Service was great. One of the wait staff spoke fluent English and was kind enough to thoroughly explain the menu to us. They offer a 100% buckwheat soba (juuwari soba) in limited quantities alongside their standard handmade soba. We ordered a cold (mori) juuwari soba with tempura and a hot (kake) soba with beef curry don. The juuwari soba had a slightly bouncier and rougher texture compared to the smoother and more uniform textured standard soba (typically 20% wheat & 80% buckwheat). We enjoyed eating both noodles and learning their differences (in fact, you could pay extra to order a mix of both). The hot soba came in a bowl of dashi soup while the cold soba came with a dipping sauce and dashi broth (that can be added to the remaining sauce and drink as a soup). The tempura used fresh ingredients and was quite light, while the beef curry don was very yummy. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable and authentic. It was also fairly light but fulfilling. Definitely a worthy visit.
I took two guests from overseas and they were very glad to be there. The foods were very tasty and especially cold soba was really good 👍 The owner is also very kind and recommend us several foods and Shochu. Worth to visit there☺️
