It was our first meal in Tokyo and did not disappoint. A big portion of Udon for 340¥. I ended up paying for 640¥. I couldn't find this price anywhere else. The owner is so kind, the food was delicious. We will definitely go back. Amazing!!

Found this unassuming soba/udon shop on google and it did not disappoint. Ordered one cold soba noodle with tempura and one hot wakame udon noodle and together it came out to under 600 yen. The noodles were cooked perfect, the broths had a great depth of flavor, and the owner is very friendly and proud of his craft. He was very kind and tried his very best to explain to us in English our options as we tried to decipher the menu which was only in Japanese. We will definitely be back the next time that we are in Shinjuku.

A truly locally owned shop! The owner was VERY nice and friendly. He tried his best to communicate with us. The udon tasted authentic with minimal ingredients which creates a simple, unique taste to it. If you want to eat like a local (because this shop is), then give it a try!
