More Comments at Google MapIt was hot and humid on the day I visited, and I wanted to eat something refreshing. This is a traditional soba restaurant run by a very efficient soba owner. On this day, I ordered a lunch set of kakiage and soba noodles. Kakiage with onions and dried shrimp and slightly thick soba noodles are placed on a colander. The tempura sauce contained grated daikon radish and ginger, and was refreshing and perfect for this hot and humid day. I was worried about whether to order a large serving of soba, but it was a good serving and the portion was enough to fill me up even with regular soba noodles. I finished the meal with soba hot water and had a great meal.
Attention to detail. The place to enjoy Japanese style. I haven't checked if it's 100% buckwheat, but I'm sure there's confidence in the buckwheat. It's just Shinano, so it's a good one. It's good that the store consciously puts it out as an autumn menu, and the clerk looks at it without looking at it. It closes early, but it's a soba restaurant you should know about in Ikebukuro! The dishes are matched to the menu, and the Japanese taste looks stylish. The store is small! The inside of the store is square, and there are old men sitting there who say, "I know Ikebukuro." But it's calming, and the sake they have is also good to choose.
The soba noodles are thick and chewy and delicious! I entered the store at 13:00 on 12/29, and it was almost full. I sat at a table with my friends, but 3 people ordered a set of various bowls and 1 person ordered a single soba. The contents were disjointed, but when they brought it to the table, they matched the timing. I also like the service. There are only 3 counter seats and 3 tables in the store, so it's not a big deal, but I think it's a good value for money because a solid soba bowl set costs about 1,000 yen! I definitely want to go again.
