More Comments at Google MapI had my first taste of the famous katsusoba at Kagurazaka Okinaan, a long-established soba restaurant in Kagurazaka that was founded in 1884. The cutlet was surprisingly chewy and went well with the soba. In a recent feature on news every., it was apparently invented after a student said, ``I want to eat both cutlet and soba, but I don't have the money.'' It seems to have been written about in the ``Tabemono Homeiroku'' published in 1984 by Naoki Prize-winning author Takuro Kamiyoshi, and out of all the unique dishes, he wanted to introduce Oian's chilled katsusoba. Unfortunately, it seems that the "500 yen katsusoba offer" on days ending in 5 has disappeared.
A long time ago, when I was a student, I often ate soba at this restaurant. “Katsusoba” was my favorite menu item and it was delicious. I visited this restaurant for the first time in several decades and had ``Katsusoba'', and it was very delicious as I tasted it while remembering the past.
This restaurant is famous for its cutlet soba. I had katsudon (lol)
