More Comments at Google MapThis is the only stand-up soba restaurant at Warabi Station, and I always visit when I work around Warabi Station. I like the wide variety of menu items and tempura. The dashi soup seems to use Makurazaki's bonito, and it's as delicious as a normal soba restaurant. Koshihikari rice is used, which is unique to a privately-run soba restaurant that is not found in JR-affiliated stand-up soba. They are particular about how to make it, and when an order is placed, the tempura is put into the soup stock pot, so the tempura is warm and delicious. I like udon noodles with a good texture here, and I like tempura udon noodles, kiss tempura udon noodles, and oboro kelp udon noodles, but soba noodles are also delicious. [2022/11 postscript] This time I got shrimp tempura soba. It was 470 yen with one large shrimp tempura, and it was a delicious soba with good cost performance. At Azumaya, the tempura is always soaked in the soup once before being placed on top, so the batter is soaked in the soup and is warm and delicious.
This is a long-established stand-up restaurant, serving soba and udon noodles like the Kancho dosu black soy sauce dark stand-up restaurant. Popular garnishes include squid and croquettes. We recommend the rice bowl and soup set, which is very filling, and the soup is made with soy sauce that has a strong dashi flavor. The beef bowl in the photo is simmered to bring out the flavor of the meat with less sweetness.
2022/07/12 Visited store A famous dark soup restaurant along the Keihin Tohoku Line. It is a small shop located between 7-Eleven and Karayoshi on the left after walking about 100 meters east from the east exit of Warabi Station. Look for the yellow sign! No matter what you say here, the soup is exquisite! Although it is classified as a dark soup, it is by no means salty, but rather has a rich and sweet taste. The combination of bonito stock is exquisitely balanced ♫ Gesoten is the so-called ``Suehiro type,'' which is fried in the shape of a bundle of legs. It's a good luck to bite into it ♫ The kiss tempura is also fluffy and gentle. And the curry is also delicious. The miso soup that comes with the curry also has a strong dashi flavor that you won't be disappointed in. The noodles are fluffy medium-thin noodles from Kowa Bussan. Be careful as sometimes it gets overcooked and becomes crumbly. 2022/07/13 Revisited store I received meat soba + half rice. I thought the meat in Niku Soba was pork, but it was actually beef, similar to the toppings in gyudon. The sweet and spicy seasoning is nice. The half rice came with furikake (probably Tartary soba furikake). This is surprising. At the end of the meal, I even had the beef left in the bowl as a side dish, and it was delicious till the end. 2022/07/18 Revisited store Today I wanted to try miso soup, so I ordered curry and rice separately. The miso soup has a nice, plump flavor. The curry also seems to be seasoned with soba soup. I truly believe that the feeling of relief from this combination is unique to Japanese people. 2022/07/22 Revisited store Intending to go back to my roots, I ordered the Gesoten + Kisuten Soba, which is my favorite at Azuma-ya. Truly, it is rare and valuable to have fried Gesoten in the shape of a foot. I would like to ask if he has any connection with Mr. Komoriya of Hatchobori Suehiro. It is best to chew geso vigorously and eat it. Kiss Ten's fluffy and gentle softness will soothe you. This collaboration between hard (geso) and soft (kiss) is the strongest!
