I went to Ponyu in Ota Ward, Tokyo. This restaurant is famous for its local Chinese gomoku fried rice. It is also featured on YouTube. If you search for parking lots, there seem to be plenty around the store, but it doesn't seem like there will be enough parking spaces. As you wait outside the store, you can hear the sound of the fried rice being made by the owner. I ordered gomoku fried rice, wonton noodles, and gyoza. The Gomoku fried rice had a gentle flavor with plenty of eggs. The gyoza has thick skin and is delicious. The wonton noodles were delicious and had a lot of portions, including wontons, spinach, menma, and chashu. Gomoku fried rice is delicious with fluffy and salty eggs. The soy sauce-flavored Gomoku fried rice felt a little stronger in flavor than the salty one, so if you like a stronger flavor, this is recommended. The stir-fried meat and vegetables had crunchy vegetables and was very delicious. There was a person who asked for dry curry, and the host asked him to use this sauce to make it taste different. It looks delicious, so I'd like to try it next time. The owner and his wife were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Even though the amount of fried rice is generous, I think the price is very low. I wanted to go there again.

It is an old-fashioned town Chinese restaurant. When I ate it a few years ago, I didn't have the impression that it was particularly delicious. Recently, when I passed in front of the store, people were lined up outside, so I entered the store for the first time in a while. Ordered ramen and half fried rice. The ramen soup was clear and it was very delicious with an old-fashioned feeling. It's a small shop with 5 counter seats and 2 tables, but I liked the atmosphere.

First of all, as the name suggests, it is a very comfortable and cozy place. You can clearly see that it is thriving. All of them looked delicious, but I ordered a large serving of fried rice with ankake sauce. A unique dish that includes ham, wood ear fungus, cabbage, etc. in the sauce. The fried rice is fluffy. You can choose between large and small soups. I chose a large one. The soup is delicious with ginger. Looking at the menu, it seems that the fried rice comes in salty and soy sauce flavors. Interesting. The couple behind me said they would have fried rice at first, but when they saw the omelet rice being brought to them by another customer, they suddenly changed to omelet rice ^_^ I'll come again!
