A teishoku place that I always visit when I’m in Tokyo. They serve really simple set / ala carte meals and their side dishes compliment their mains. I particularly enjoy eating their grilled fish sets the most and everything is priced very reasonable for such good quality food with very decent portion. Also, I highly recommend upgrading your miso soup to their barley miso soup which is super creamy with a ton of vegetables and mushrooms.

Good Ootoya branch. You can get a delicious set meal (meat/fish dish, rice, salad, miso soup) for approximately 1000 Yen. The staff is friendly.

My friend guided me to this restaurant. The price was very reasonable, the staff were very friendly, and the menu was quite broad and interesting. I ordered some grilled chicken which was cook absolutely perfectly, with special rice, miso soup with lots of vegetables and pickles. It was a great lunch.
