I visited Tsukiji tamazushi Rumine kitasenju store after the sushi restaurant in Maru Ichi had a sign posted that they were out of Shirako Ponzu [Milt]. Alas, Tamazushi was out of Shirako Ponzu as well so I ordered Ankimo Ponzu [monkfish liver] to accompany my nihonshu. My disappointment was molified somewhat by the tasty appetizer. I ordered an ala carte assortment of some of my favorite sushi. From right to left: otoro, aji, hotate, ama ebi, botan ebi and a masago gunkan. Very satisfying.The sake was served in an attractive kiriko glass. The restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere. I especially liked the wooden bucket lighting fixtures.
