Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜炭火焼肉ごしち

A little cosy shop 10min walking from Takao station. It was a totally different experience than an all-you-can-eat yakiniku (食べ放題). You could taste the meat had definitely a higher quality than the usual yakiniku, quite soft. Also, they won a draft beer contest in 2019, so it can't be a bad choice to go there. Price is normal, not cheap but not expensive. You get nicely full for a price you would be for a 食べ放題 menu. Recommended, when you r around that area.

A yakiniku restaurant relatively close to Takao Station. There are plenty of unique side menus as well as meat. It is always very busy, so we recommend making a reservation. You can enjoy delicious meat at a reasonable price. There are also several parking lots in front of the store.

Overall, the meat is very fresh and of a high quality. I especially liked the soft and juicy skirt steak and the meaty tongue. I think the best Takao course is to soak in the hot springs after climbing Mt. Takao and enjoy grilled meat.
