Musashino, Tokyo, Japan｜福郎 fukurou

I ordered too much food but it was delicious. The lady spoke fluent English & Japanese, which is very rare in Kichijoji. We had a good conversation and it made the experience enjoyable. The owner/chef is also experienced at cooking and has worked at a reputable overseas restaurant before. I know this as it’s in my country (Singapore!) He spoke a bit of English too. *The food is enough for 2-3 people, please ignore the price I paid.

Chiraishi bowl (must try), seasonal and snow fish were fantastic. Good recommendations all round. Sake was good too. Decent English spoken by the owner which helped us.

A great option for a casual Japanese lunch. Nicely selected fresh fish and seems like they have a sake meister so you could enjoy sips of sake any time.
