A classic, old style soba restaurant near Yushima Tenji Shrine. I came here by accident visiting the shrine. I had curry udon and it tasted spicy and lots of flavors. You can feel the history on the decoration of its walls. If you want quality soba noodles, this place will be great!

I came here for Hegisoba, but I ended up having curry udon... This was bingo. It is much more Japanese-style than ordinary curry udon, and the feeling of curry udon at a soba restaurant permeated. I failed to take a picture, but the fried celery was also very delicious. It's open all the time, so I think it's good to come for a drink.

This is my first visit to Yushima Tenjin for lunch after praying for my entrance exam! Hegi soba, fried tofu, conger eel tempura I ordered green onion miso fried tofu, but I would be happy if there was natto in the fried tofu. Soba is delicious, and I like the smooth and chewy noodles that are unique to Hegi soba. It was a feast. Denki Bran was on the alcohol menu.
