The staff was welcoming even though they didn't speak English. I ordered off their special menu and it didn't disappoint! The white liver was surprisingly my favorite but it was all delicious. They charge you a cover charge (440¥ each) and each must order at least a drink. I showed up at 450pm and there was no line. They opened at 5 and during my 15 minute start we were the only people there. Prices are decent.

Excellent food and excellent service. Was kind of bummed that there was a small cover charge of 440 yen per person, but to my surprise, the chef gave us a yummy treat on the house! With that said, I think cover charges are the norm around Shinjuku due to its tourist location. Awesome, would definitely visit again!

The food here is one of the best I had in Tokyo and I have been to Tokyo many times. The selection is great and best dish to have is definitely the chicken broth and grilled rice with butter. If you are adventurous, try the fallopian tube ovaries.
