Food is tasty and good quality at a excellent price point. The eel tempura was unexpectedly large portion. The noodles had excellent texture. The place can get pretty busy around lunch time as a lot of local business people come here to eat. I arrived when shop opened around 10AM and there was no wait time.

Popular soba joint among locals and tourists. Small space so there was a short line for a seat at peak hour. Very friendly chef and it’s always a joy watching these culinary masters in action at the counter seats. Tempura was crisp and non-greasy. English menu available. Short walk from Akasaka Mitsuke metro station.

Delicious, affordable, and generous portion sizes for the price. Definitely worth coming all the way just for the soba and Katsudon combo that you can get everywhere else but not the quality you get here. I also like the pickled vegetables here. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant. I would give 4.5 rating (not 5) but since I can’t do it on google, 5 it is.
