Had omakase for the first time ever here and I'm so glad I experienced it with Chef Hata. Each dish was delicious and since he spoke English, he explained what each dish was and was great to chat with in general. Would highly recommend for anyone else wanting to have an amazing sushi experience.

We actually ended up here by mistake, right as they opened (18:00), and I'm so glad we did. They made room for us and made us feel welcome. From the first appetizer to the dessert (during which the entire restaurant sang 'happy birthday' to me) we thoroughly enjoyed everything Chef Hata set before us. Chef Hata spoke English very well and explained everything we ate to us. We are by no means sushi experts, and appreciated that. There were three other couples with us seated at the bar. We were with Chef Hata until nearly 20:45.
