More Comments at Google MapThis was an amazing experience. I found this place on google maps and got a reservation a few days later. The omakase experience takes around two hours, is about 20 courses and is impeccable. I have never tasted anything like it. Our favourite courses were the squid and the uni. Thank you for an amazing dinner. We payed about 53,000 yen for two omakase, a bottle of wine and sake for two people. There are only six places in the restaurant, so it feels really intimate.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Sagane, by Chef Yamaguchi. The quality of the ingredients used in every dish was outstanding. The freshness of the seafood was unparalleled. One highlight of the meal was the incorporation of unexpected ingredients like tomatoes and hokki-gai. Chef Yamaguchi's skillful preparation and pairing of these ingredients added a delightful twist to traditional sushi. The way he integrated these elements into the omakase menu showcased his culinary creativity and mastery. Each course was a revelation, and I left Sushi Sagane with a newfound appreciation for the artistry of sushi-making. If you're looking for a sushi dining experience that pushes boundaries while maintaining the highest quality of ingredients, Chef Yamaguchi's omakase at Sushi Sagane is a must-try. It's an unforgettable journey through flavors and textures that will leave you craving more.
Excellent meal. One of the best sushi omakase I’ve ever had. Great fish, sake and a wonderful chef. Small and intimate restaurant but worth the trip and price. Would go ahead next time I’m in Shinjuku.
