Love this place with wonderful highballs and nice foods. 'Kaku' ice is really awesome. Curry was bit spicy but nice. And katsu-sando(cutlet sandwich) was greatest at Ueno place pretty sure.

[Ueno] ”Highball Bar Ueno Station 1923” A shop on the restaurant floor of atre in Ueno Station. It is a shop that was made on the site where the same Dynac series “Rose and Crown” used to be. There is also a highball bar 1923 on the premises of Tokyo Station, and I have heard that the menu is the same. There is a table charge of 550 yen, but the nuts on the table are all-you-can-eat, so you can have as many snacks as you like. On this day, we had “Natural Ginger Highball” and “Icicle Highball”. The icicle highball contains specially made icicle ice made from crystal clear pure water, and you can order only the contents for a great deal. One customer was also crowded with salaried workers on their way home from work. A little over 2000 yen for 3 cups! Considering that it is a bar, the atmosphere is casual, but I think it is quite conscientious.

You can enjoy a variety of highballs with a thin glass and delicious ice. There is a table charge of 550 yen, but you can eat as many snacks as you like, such as nuts, banana chips, barley chocolate, etc., so it's a good idea to eat slowly while drinking a highball. There aren't many seats, but I think most people drink a few drinks and it's over. The cutlet sandwich is excellent.
