Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan｜KINOKUNIYA entrée GRANSTA Tokyo Store

We found this wonderful store in the warren of corridors within the vast Tokyo Station while we were exploring for lunch options. The store may at first ressemble a typical Japanese convenient store but upon closer inspection, Kinokuniya's offerings are far more extensive and unique. It boggles the mind how they managed to fit so many tasty things into the store without appearing cluttered and chaotic. The prepared meals are varied and unique, from the traditional bento boxes to unusual salads and meal combos, Kinokuniya has it all. There are multiple fridges with beverages from ice tea to soft drinks, beers to plum wines. Then there are snacks and more snacks. They even have shelf space for beautifully wrapped chocolates and treats for giftgiving. Sharing a common storefront is a bakery offering the customary exquisite Japanese pastries and baked goods, so there are more gastronomic options available in the same location. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice CONVENIENT STORE with a good variations in meals on train ( bento ) & drinks ( juices .beers & wines ) . That make the diference in competitive to others popular convenience stores .

Great shop with a nice beer selection you cannot find in Family Mart, Lawson or Seven Eleven. Also a great selection of fresh desserts and more.
