More Comments at Google MapVisited this restaurant with a local friend who wanted to try authentic Indian food and when the usual restaurant I visit in Tokyo was closed, I was reminded of Diya as many of friends had recommended this place as well. They do have a lunch set menu which is cheaper but we decided to go for a-la-carte. Ended up ordering pani puri, Amritsari fish tikka, Kerala mutton and chicken tikka masala, with laccha parantha and garlic naan. I was pleasantly surprised to find the taste to be very authentic with a perfect blend of spices. The curry wasn’t sweetened like other local places and was quite delicious. We also had tea and gulab jamun to end our meal, though I didn’t like the tea a lot. The gulab jamuns were sumptuous. The staff is also quote hospitable and friendly, that made our experience more enjoyable. If you are looking for an authentic, fine dining Indian experience - this is place to explore.
Good ambience and the service was really fast. Their staff is courteous and helpful. The food was great! I loved the panipuri and the juicy lamb chops!
Diya is a fantastic restaurant. It offers a unique, fusion Indian dining experience. All of the dishes here are delicious, and I find myself coming back to Diya every time I go to Hibiya Midtown. The service is wonderful too. Each of the staff members is very attentive towards the customers, and they explain the dishes in a simple and informative manner. Overall, I would highly reccommend this restaurant.
