It's not the thinly fried taiyaki with the crispy skin that's trending right now, but the cream sandwiched between the fluffy and fluffy skin is smooth and has a satisfying taste that will fill you up with just one piece. This time I was hungry so I ate 8 pieces, but my stomach was full and I was satisfied.

When it comes to soft serve ice cream in Ogikubo, it's "New Komiya" located in Town Seven. This long-established store has continued to sell soft-serve ice cream in the same location for more than 50 years, ever since the chaotic post-war era. Nowadays, the traditional soft serve ice cream and the ``Taiyaki'', which was started by the current owner, are on the signboard. The limited-time soft serve ice creams, such as those made with Sato Nishiki, are delicious, but my favorite is the classic "Mocha Mix." A generous amount of specially made cream is used, and once you taste the richness of the concentrated milk and the melt-in-your-mouth quality, you'll be hooked. The slightly bitter taste of mocha is pleasant, making it the perfect treat on a hot day.
