I visited for a late lunch on a weekday. The daily specials and pork soup were appealing, but since it was my first time, I had the fried chicken set meal, which I had heard was delicious. Pickled cucumbers and a small bowl of taro were served immediately after ordering, and the fried chicken was served within 5 minutes. Maybe it was early because it was past its peak. I was impressed by how all the staff worked so hard. The fried chicken was so hot that it burned my mouth, and just as I had heard, it was crispy and juicy. It wasn't too strong or too thin, the flavor was just right, and together with the large shredded cabbage, the meal went smoothly. The miso soup was also delicious. Next time I would like to go for the daily or weekly menu.

The famous cabbage dish is something you wouldn't expect to find anywhere else. Cabbage can be a snack! I see! It was a masterpiece. These meatballs were exactly the chicken dumplings I was looking for.

I met up with my wife for dinner at Kushiemon @ Kodenmacho, where my wife often eats lunch. It's our 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving, so until today, the first glass of draft beer, highball, and sour is only 30 yen! Half price after that! It was.
