Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan｜グラバー亭

One of the legendary noodle place in this city, been open before I originally moved to Mitaka back in the 70's. Nothing fancy about the decorations and no special service. But it is a place where locals keeps coming back. Ramen, Tonkotsu, and Chanpon. All three tastes great. Very authentic Nagasaki provincial type of taste.

I have an intractable disease that I can't help but eat sara udon on a regular basis, so of course I ordered the sara udon (large serving) at this restaurant as well. I was taken aback by the volume at first. To be honest, it was more delicious than when I ate it in Nagasaki (4 times in total)

When I visited around lunchtime, there were several people lined up outside. When I entered the store, there was one table seat for two people, one table seat for three people, three table seats for four people, and about five counter seats. I ordered the ``Special Champo'' at the counter, and it had a variety of ingredients and was very filling. I was able to enjoy the authentic taste of Nagasaki while staying in Tokyo♪
