I topped chicken curry with seasonal vegetables and enjoyed the dish at Curry Restaurant Tandoor. Their curry roux is based on Indian curry gravy, but has been adapted to suit the Japanese palate. The original roux is a unique mixture of spices, giving it a nostalgic feel while also giving it the perfect amount of spiciness. This curry is a perfect combination of traditional Japanese flavors and the richness of spices. I wish more people knew about this delicious restaurant.

I was getting fed up with the Disneyland-sized lines at Nankai and Jiro, but I went in and didn't do any research because there was a blackboard with menus at reasonable prices and a sizzling feel. The clerk is Indian or 〇〇 Stan, speaks good Japanese and is kind. The atmosphere is small and feels like a coffee shop. It's unusual for a restaurant of this size to use a meal ticket system (though it's hard to understand how to buy it). It seems like Boso (Chiba) is particular about the vegetable curry and pork, which is interesting. There, I had the "Boso pork stew curry". By the way, there is no beef curry or cutlet curry. that? Despite the name of the restaurant, they didn't have tandoori chicken either lol As a result, I won this store! The viscosity is just right for me, who doesn't like the watery texture of soup curry or coco ichi. What's more, it doesn't feel like it's dry from the water at all, and you can really feel the flavor of the base stock. The stewed pork is as soft as the Dongpo meat at a good restaurant, and the fat part is not unpleasant. Best of all, the roux sticks to it, which makes it even more delicious. There are no stingy portions that are common at famous restaurants, and the portions are just right. Moreover, you can choose the amount when you buy the meal ticket. I was the only person in a store like this at about 11:45AM. too good to waste! Nankai and Jiro are good, but this one is also good enough to make you want to come back again. If you think about wasting time in line, it might actually be better than the former! Try it!

When I want to eat curry, I want to go to a curry restaurant I've never seen before. I came here because I wanted to try spiced curry that I had never tried before in Jimbocho, which is a hotly contested area for curry. I was surprised when I visited! I can't believe I overlooked such a delicious curry restaurant. It may be an exaggeration to say that even Indians were surprised, but I was able to find a curry that was so spicy that I could enjoy the aftertaste of the curry spice for about 30 minutes after eating it. I really wanted to order dal curry, but it seems like they didn't have it. It's on my list to revisit when I have time. I am grateful to the staff at the restaurant who make delicious curry! 🙏
