Lovely owners, delicious Katsudon that is both crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; sauce and breading that complement the taste of meat instead of overpower it. Incredible joint.

Recommended for foreign tourists. The interior is a traditional Japanese restaurant. There are not many seats, but it is not uncomfortable. The kake-katsu-don is popular and delicious. The owner, who seemed to be a waiter, seemed to speak simple English and French. Customers eat quietly and tastefully. It is not a place for loud noises. Every small dish is handmade, and no corners are cut.

I watched a YouTube video on Tonkatsu Suzushin and decided to have dinner on Saturday night 21 January 2023 and I’m so happy we did, the Tonkatsu was delicious. We really enjoyed the owners, they were super friendly and welcoming.
