This is a modern, family-run restaurant where you can choose between sitting at the bar or a table. We ordered the Kakiage set meal and found it to be delicious. I especially enjoyed the clam miso soup and the tempura prawns. Highly recommended, but be prepared for a popular spot, and you might have to queue up outside.

Wasn't able to get a reservation but managed to get walk in seats. Will be back again for the light tempura that wasn't overwhelming. - tempura was lightly battered such that even after a full bowl you would be craving for more - shirmps were huge, almost with a peusdo lobster texture Staff were very friendly and accommodating to try and sit us at the earliest time Would personally recommend ordering more tempura veges on the side as they hit the spot so hard with that

I stumbled across this restaurant as I stayed in the hotel to the north. And what a gem I found. The restaurant is small but luckily found a bar seat. I didn't know they had an English menu, but I ordered simply by looking at Google review photos, and appeared a kakiage don was most popular. Did not disappoint. The entire meal was so delicious and was made to order by the head chef. The clam miso was the best on my Japan 2023 trip.
