Visited with 3 women after 7pm on a weekday. It was already full, so I made a reservation and it was a good idea. (Maybe it was just a coincidence) There were no office worker groups, and there were many female groups, including us. You can choose between the normal type of sweet and sour pork with ketchup and black vinegar. I chose black vinegar without hesitation, and it was delicious! Onions and green peppers are also included, making it very satisfying. I also ordered the stir-fried egg with vegetables, which has received good reviews. Vegetable sauce is trapped inside a thinly-cooked egg, and the dish is served by wrapping a suitable amount in a crepe and dipping it in sweet soy sauce. It comes with sweet noodle sauce and shredded white onions, but the crepe must be ordered separately. This has a homely and gentle taste. The ankake with lots of vegetables is neither too loose nor too hard, just right. I also ordered boiled dumplings and braised steamed bread recommended by the staff. The soup dumplings are Beijing style with thick skin. It was delicious, but the black vinegar recommended as a sauce for the gyoza was quite sour. It would have been even better if they had their own original sauce, like homemade chili oil. The steamed bread with braised braised pork and mustard greens is also delicious. The menu came with 4 items, but they were kind enough to let me know if I could make 3 items. The menu only has pictures of some of the dishes, so the prices seemed high at first glance, but the portions are quite large. Is it enough for 4 people to share one plate? I actually wanted to order more things, but I was too full. There is also an extensive drink menu. My two companions had one beer each and a half bottle of Shaoxing wine. The lineup of Shaoxing wine appears to be from Yongchangyuan. I had 3 soft drinks. What surprised me was the "Homemade Freshly Squeezed Juice" (660 yen). When I ordered limeade, the juice came out with a very refreshing taste, which was a pleasant discovery. Other varieties include mandarin oranges and grapefruit. I definitely recommend this over cola or ginger ale (which comes in bottles). The waiter wasn't very friendly, but he wasn't so violent as to throw chopsticks at me, so I didn't feel uncomfortable. To be honest, I was disappointed in the lack of variety of desserts (on this day, I only had apricot tofu and sesame dumplings. The apricot tofu was said to be hard). The bill is approximately 10,000 yen. I thought the cost performance was very good. If you like Chinese food and Shaoxing wine, this is a restaurant that will definitely satisfy you!
It's been 39 years since my boss took me there, and I think the taste is good without being too Japanese-style. Even from Showa to Reiwa, prices haven't changed that much, have they?
