More Comments at Google MapThis Chinese restaurant "Li Bai" is hidden in the alley behind Westin Tokyo, and this time it is a company dinner visit. There are three prices for lunch: 2000, 3800, and 6800 (reservation required). Except for the appetizers, they are all amazing. Even when I grew up eating these things, I wondered, have I ever eaten better dim sum? The content of the set menu will change from time to time, let me introduce today's dishes~ Steamed dim sum steamed buns and siu mai with thin skin and meat are delicious, and the black vinegar that goes with them does not take away the brilliance of the buns at all; fried and baked radish cakes, the skin is crispy, the radish is shredded (?), and the filling is soft and delicious. Then I suddenly remembered the red bean rice cake that I often eat during the Chinese New Year in Taiwan; the beef pie skin is crispy, the filling is delicate, and it is not greasy at all. The next dish is dumplings in soup. The chef said to drink three or four mouthfuls of the soup first, and then dig out the dumplings to drink with the soup. The soup is very mellow in terms of seasoning and taste, and it does not conflict with the fillings. For the main meal, I chose zongzi (wrapped in lotus leaves, it should be glutinous rice chicken from Hong Kong). In addition, there are mapo tofu rice, dan dan noodles, and barbecued green onion noodles. Although the zongzi is simple, it is also extremely elegant. The rice grains are not squeezed into one piece, but have a sense of air. The final dessert is almond tofu and custard bun. Almond tofu is like high-grade cheese, which is my favorite taste. After leaving aside the custard buns, the tender, sweet and salty mayonnaise is so charming, I have fallen in love with the custard buns ever since! Hong Kong Cuisine + Sichuan Cuisine creates a Chinese restaurant with a new feeling. On the whole, it is a meal that is elegant, well-seasoned and multi-layered, but everything is very refreshing. Even if the Chinese come to eat, they will be caught. There are boxes in the restaurant, which are suitable for bringing important people to visit.
I used a quick lunch. The composition of appetizer, main course and dessert is very satisfying. While respecting the essence of Chinese cuisine, the dishes also have a sense of creativity, giving the impression of more sophisticated Chinese food than authentic Chinese food. I forgot to take the important main photo, but... Chinese tea brûlée for dessert? It was very delicious and very satisfying.
visit for lunch I ordered a Sichuan cuisine course. It was very delicious. This is the perfect restaurant for a slightly luxurious lunch.
