Minato City, Tokyo, Japan｜Chinese Cafe Eight Azabu-Juban

We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered a Chinese restaurant in our local neighborhood of Azabujuban. On top of that, it is both a 24 hour spot, and serves Peking Duck! However, there are some caveats related to this restaurant that we keep in mind: they allow smoking inside, and there is no distinct division between smoking and non smoking seating, and there is a cooking time of "30-40 minutes " for the Peking Duck, though in our experience, it is closer to 50-60 minutes. The lunch sets seem to be ready quickly, and they are a good deal. The Peking duck set comes with Peking Duck, then a stirfry with the meat and some greens, and finally a soup with the bones of the duck (with vermicelli, tofu, and cabbage). We would bring a Tupperware container next time, as we were full and ready to go by the time the soup arrived.

Fast service, tasty food, and reasonable prices. I shared a lot of dishes with friends and every single one was delicious. I especially loved the soup dumplings and pork and vegetable noodle bowl! Also, this spicy sweet duck dish with steamed buns was divine.

Good food, good vibe, not too expensive. Too bad smoking is still allowed inside the restaurant. I would still come back here though
