More Comments at Google MapA historic Chinese restaurant I came to the restaurant during lunchtime, when it was very busy, and had the Kakunidon. Despite being reasonably priced, it's delicious with plenty of melty braised braised meat on top of piping hot rice. It's pretty empty at night.
It's about a 3-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station, along the main street that is the battleground for restaurants. It looks like a long-established store and the storefront has a nostalgic atmosphere. The inside of the store is surprisingly spacious. I ordered the daily lunch box and shark fin soup. It came out right away. The lunch came in a large bento box with a mini soup, and although I ended up covering myself with the soup, the amount was just right and it was delicious. You can save money at stores participating in the 25% OFF cashless payment campaign in Shinjuku Ward in September 2022. I could use PayPay, but Rakuten Pay didn't work. This was my first experience with cashless payment, and the store staff kindly guided me through it. There was also a statement that course meals were available on the same day. The menu seemed to have a lot of variety, so it seemed like a restaurant you could enjoy for a long time.
It looks like an old Chinese restaurant. It is far from Takadanobaba station. However, if you have no choice but to eat lunch at a chain ramen restaurant in front of the station, I think it would be better to come here. I’m glad I ate the sesame dandan noodles♡ It was okay to pay with PayPay.
