The place is a very retro restaurant right in the heart of Asakusa. There's a counter and also you can go upstairs. The food comes fast and all the gyozas are reaaaaally good. I recommend the ponzu and scallion ones! The place itself it's pretty small but has a lot of charm. The guys in charge are pretty friendly!

Tried this place as I love Dan Dan noodles. It is small with counter seating downstairs. The had an English menu and I had the sesame and pork mince soup was incredibly tasty. It had their mildest chilli rating and was perfect for me as I can't handle really hot food. The colour was deep orange and swimming in sesame seeds. Gyoza also big and juicy. Music played on a nice low level was a Woodstock style playlist of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Bobby Charles, Canned Heat which made a nice change from pop and pipe music in other places. It’s an authentic restaurant in a less obvious location. Small face but really good food. Strongly recommend spicy huntun noodle soup and gyoza meal. I haven’t had such delicious and authentic Chinese food for a long time. It was a surprise. Good value for sure, ¥2000 for 2 people.
