Worth trying if you’re in the neighbourhood after the Fukagawa Edo Museum, about a 1 minute walk from there. It’s a local specialty to this area so you can’t get it anywhere else. There’s an English menu and price is reasonable.

Two people ordered one each of clam rice and clam paofan (rice in soup). There were a lot of clams, which tasted good and didn't feel too salty, but the amount was too large to finish. In fact, the 1880 set meal on the menu is cost-effective, and there are free fruits. The side dishes are free and unlimited, and the sweet garlic is delicious. The upstairs is full of tatami mats, the toilet is on the first floor, very old toto toilets, the toilet cover does not have a heating function, but it is still clean.また come ます!

Absolutely delicious. Really enjoyed their rice cooked with clams. The set menu is very affordable (¥1070) and the service is very good. Quiet relaxing vibes. Would definitely visit again!!
