Matsumoto / Shiojiri's local gourmet "Sanzokuyaki" famous restaurant👍 Visited at holiday lunchtime in early March 2021. We also do takeout. As for the bandit-grilled set meal, the bandit-grilled set meal was so big that I left a little white rice. At 1300 yen including tax, this volume is too amazing. A level that doubts whether it is profitable (laughs) The weight before frying must be about 1kg. I'm a man in his twenties, but most people will be satisfied with the mini bandit grilled set meal. If you want to change the taste, sprinkle a little shichimi on the table. The chopsticks will move forward more and more. Of course, not only the quantity but also the taste is delicious. Even though it's fried, it's not sticky at all, and you can enjoy it. The amount, taste, and price are very satisfying, and I definitely recommend this restaurant. As you can see in the menu in the photo, it can be used not only as a set restaurant but also as a small izakaya. The interior of the store feels like an old-fashioned store, and I felt that it fits well with the image of Nagano.

I visited here because I wanted to try Matsumoto's specialty, Sanzokuyaki. When I asked the hostess how big it was, she said 2.5 chicken cutlets, so I ordered the Sanzokuyaki set meal with less rice. The size of the Sanzokuyaki may be overwhelming, but it tastes like Tatsuta-age with soy sauce and garlic, and goes well with rice even without sauce or sauce. The miso soup has a surprising red soup stock, the pickles are sweet, and the salad has a sour dressing that changes the taste so much that you can eat it all the time. However, if I finished eating it, it would be painful afterwards, so I decided to leave the cutlet untouched and take it out. A mini set meal would be enough for one person. When I happened to look at the board on the side, there was a menu called "Sanzoku Zaru Chuka" that wasn't on the menu, and that might have been easier on my stomach.
