One of the oldest miso nikomi udon(a Nagoya specialty) restaurant that has been running continuously for 150 years. The food was tasty and cost efficient, and the atmosphere offers a glimpse into the Showa Era commoners eatery. High recommend!

Lunch only, miso nikomi stew udon, small dining place, more than 160 years of business! Long line on weekends, to avoid it, weekdays after 2pm. They have other menu but miso nikomi udon is their signature one.

Not your average sweet & salty miso nikomi udon, these have the slightly bitter taste of bean miso. They make their own blend. The noodles, regular thickness, are made in house. There were plenty of regulars when I visited.
