Osaka, Japan｜Okonomiyaki Chitose

We reached at 11.10am as it was near our hotel and there was already a queue although they only opened at 11.30am. By the time we were seated at 11.30am, there were at least 15 in the queue so be there early! The staff came out to take our order while we were queueing so the wait for the food was short. Food was great. I was surprised by the pineapple in their okonomiyaki but it didn't taste like a weird combo at all. The seafood was fresh and huge. The owner is friendly and they have English menu. Staff also speak some English. I guess the only con is that you'll be smelling like teppanyaki for the rest of the day.

Staff was very friendly and thoughtful. Came outside to take orders in line and even provided an umbrella because started to rain. Food came quick after sitting down. Very delicious! Highly recommended!

Don't skip this place! "okonomiyaki" is the house specially which is a kind of omelet with pineapple and your choice of meat or soy. The chef recommended to me a bunch of other vegetarian places to check out in Osaka, too! Very friendly staff and delicious food! This place is both tiny and really popular so the line starts to go down the block as soon as they open. It's worth the wait!
