Very tourist friendly. The staff went above and beyond to communicate with us in English (texting their friend and showing us the English translation). Google Translate app worked well here for reading menus and communicating with the staff. Service was outstanding. The food was delicious and fresh! I wish I could give this place 99999 stars!

Great traditional food experience. They have an English food menu, the owner was super-friendly, the set meals we had were very tasty and rich in variety (price was friendly too). We were lucky to arrive pretty early so we had the perfect Japanese-style table for crossed-leg sitting (and perfect for chanko hot pot but we were too hungry to think about what we want in the hot pot so we went for the set menu). Fish was yum!

It was delicious, and the boss gave me a cup of coffee after knowing that I was a foreign tourist.
