Truly wonderful, after a long day of travel was exactly what we needed. The staff were very welcoming and brought an English menu when we were obviously struggling. Food was amazing, and they were very accomodating to our dietary requirements. Thank you very much

Came here twice during our stay in Kyoto. Lovely, homey meals, food was well seasoned, and portions were generous. The stewed beef tendon was especially delicious, whilst the shrimp tempura is not their strong point (but still good!). The shop owners were also so friendly and kind. It felt like my parents had cooked for me - I left feeling very warm both times.

Amazing dishes and very cheap. Sake is a must try! Staff very kind and helpful. It's a real traditional place.
