Hearty and comforting Gukbap with amazing hospitality from the owner. Super welcoming and patiently explaining to us on the menu and how to mix around the paste/sauce. In all, i had gukbap and boiled pork slices for lunch. I also ordered a soju and the lady owner did the shaking and elbow knocking style of opening the bottle that reminds you of a visit back to Korea. Highly recommended and i will definitely return for more! :)

Food was great, but the service was perfect. The chef and the lady running the front were genuinely so kind despite a slight language barrier. Definitely recommended if you're interested in good Korean food while in Kyoto (and if you want to meet some genuinely kind people)!

Food and service was excellent. Second and third generation Korean Japanese mom and son were welcoming hosts. Unique flavor that hit different from food in LA and Seoul.
