I have never thought that so much effort and dedication could go into a tofu dish. We absolutely loved the tofu set. Had a cold and hot tofu set. The host explained to the best he could. The store could have done more with English sign outside to attract tourist. During our dining, it would seems most patrons are locals.

Classic tofu set was very good. It was pleasant to sit in the garden area and interesting history, founded in 1635 in the early Edo period. “The tofu used in the restaurant’s boiled tofu is made with organic soybeans and natural brine extracted in a special room below ground, made fresh each morning in a workshop under the 2000 square meter garden visible from the dining areas.”

A store worth trying, come here just because of the beautiful garden. The amount of tofu was so large that the mother and daughter couldn't finish the set meal. Great place for a light meal. The waiter will tell you the correct way to eat it, so we can enjoy it all afternoon. It's really great when it rains!
