The Tenkaippin Group's only store that utilizes an old folk house. I wanted to go there someday, but I didn't know it was closed. I went by motorcycle on the first weekend of September 2023. About 30 minutes after getting off at Shinmeishin Shigaraki IC, there is Tenkaippin Kami Asamiya store in a scenic spot near the prefectural border with Kyoto Prefecture. There are several parking lots at the storefront and a large parking lot on the highway side, both of which are full. I managed to stop and go to the store, but there was a long line. You have to write your name at the entrance and wait for 100 minutes. I took off my shoes and disturbed you. The house is decorated with lucky charms and folk crafts here and there, making you feel like you've stepped into your grandma's house. It was my first time to eat Kotteri while looking at the rice fields in front of me. It was hot outside and the occasional breeze helped, but inside the house it was very cool with the air conditioning! I feel revived. It was worth the 450km one-way trip, but it's a shame to think that I won't be able to go there again. It's really a waste!

The famous Kamiasamiya store I visited about 5 years ago, but it was closed, and I was finally able to eat it the other day. To be honest, the taste is obvious, but it's an ordinary Tenichi. It makes sense to eat it in a restaurant with this atmosphere. However, it is sad that the store will be closed on 9/12. I'm glad I was able to visit before that.
