This place is amazing. The interior of the shop is recreating a retro Taiwan. But the food is unbelievably delicious, ordered a beef noodle dish, a lamb Ma La hot pot, beef rice dish, a cutlet with fried rice dish, a bun dish, tea and two desserts. They were all worth ordering and would like to visit again. If I have to point out a con, it would only be the price because I’m pretty sure it would’ve been cheaper in Taiwan but to be able to eat all of this in Japan the price was worth paying. Definitely recommend dining there but go a bit earlier than the opening timing, otherwise you’ll probably have to wait in the line.

As Taiwanese, I can guarantee this restaurant offers authentic Taiwanese Cuisine, the Pork Rib Rice and Tofu Pudding are highly recommended!

If you want to try real Taiwanese food, this would be one of the best places in Kyoto. It still tastes a little different from the food in Taiwan, but I think it might be due to the sources of the ingredients. Anyway, as a Taiwanese, the food here is at least 85% similar!
