The eel is grilled to a crispy aroma without any earthy smell. The environment is small but elegant, and the staff and chef are very friendly. The price is also reasonable for Gion. Recommended

Best unagi I've ever had. It's a very authentic Japanese restaurant with amazing food, super friendly staff, and a cozy/warm environment. A big plus- I made a reservation on Google easily. The price is a little high but reasonable. Overall we had a memorable experience here during our Japan trip.

What a dinner. Freshly grilled eel has a crispy crust and meltingly good meaty flavour. Their liver grill is the freshest I've had. Service is typical Kyoto manner, softly spoken and attention to details. Highly recommended. Reservation is a must.
