The Oyakodon here is great, very delicious and the price is reasonable. The restaurant is a clean and we had dinner on a very quiet evening. Worth a visit if you are a fan of Oyakodon - it really does taste different than other shokudos.

This is a long-established restaurant located on the north side of Keihan Sakamoto Station when heading east (towards Lake Biwa). There is a parking lot, but the frontage is narrow and the width is similar to that of a light car, so be careful if you are driving a regular car. The inside of the store looks like a udon restaurant with mainly tables, but there is also a tatami room in the back, so it seems like it can be used even at night, making it very versatile. I had the daily set meal for lunch. Today's meal is a hearty meal of cold shabu, small udon, rice, and a small bowl, and the price is very reasonable. Among the restaurants around Sakamoto, there are many that cater to tourists, but I thought this was a good restaurant that was easy to use, including the price.
