Quite simply the best unagi I’ve ever had... This family have been perfecting their recipe and method for more than 400 years. The eel was crispy and savoury, but not too sweet. Condiments were plentiful. And my matcha ice cream was a delight!!

It was a store I had always wanted to visit. I was happy to finally be here. I ordered hitsumabushi, and there are three types of eel: half, one, and one and a half, and you can choose from three types of rice: small, medium, or large. It seems that the food is skewered and grilled after receiving your order, so it takes a while, but while you're waiting, enjoy alcohol, yuba tofu, Umaki, etc. while you wait. The taste is prepared by the owner while keeping in mind the feelings of the Seta eel. As you said, the eel is very delicate and carefully grilled, and the secret sauce is not too sweet or too rich, the skin is crispy, and the eel is soft. I was truly impressed by how delicious it was. Also, the taste made me want to eat it right away. Thank you for the meal. The parking lot is small, and it seems that about 3 large vehicles can be parked in the Magohachi parking lot across the street, but in any case, it may be better to declare if you are coming by car when making a reservation.
