Hashimoto, Wakayama, Japan｜Tokusa

The owner and his wife are the nicest people in Japan I've met in 3 weeks! They offer great food, some things I've only seen here (crab brain). We had a very nice conversation even though I don't speak Japanese. We used google translate and had a lot of fun. I had a memorable evening and on top of this she got up early in the morning and took me to the train station! I am happy that I met them and will definetily go back there one day!

Assorted sashimi, boiled kinme, conger eel hot pot...all with fresh and delicious flavors. I wanted to order more, but I had eaten all kinds of Wakayama food since morning, so I was exhausted. The store was also clean. There is also ample parking available. This is a store that I can recommend.

Speaking of Hashimoto, even though it is on the mountain side, seafood dishes are surprisingly delicious. This time, I had the top course recommended by the owner. I'm particular about a little effort, and I ate salt-grilled mackerel, but I ate it even though I thought it had fish bones, but it wasn't at all. Boiled red snapper was also the best. Sushi rolls came out last, but I was so full that I couldn't reach them. There are things I forgot to take pictures, so it's a medium amount. The yukhoe and dashimaki egg in the photo were ordered separately, but this is also addictive. This time I went with a friend to introduce it, but I was satisfied. I was wondering if I would like a little more dry type of sake, but I don't know.
